Why use Big Sticks if you’re already a member of a golf course?
Because real improvement doesn’t happen once a week. It happens through repetition. To play your best golf, you need consistent, high-quality swings, and that’s exactly what Big Sticks Golf delivers.
Big Sticks combines cutting-edge indoor technology with a focused practice environment that most golf courses simply can’t offer. Dial in your swing before a tournament, sharpen your game between rounds, or gain a competitive edge with a professional lesson. No weather delays. No course availability issues. Just results-driven practice whenever you need it.
We’re open year-round and open to the public, making Big Sticks the most convenient and effective way to improve your game in the area. If you’re serious about lowering your scores, Big Sticks isn’t optional — it’s essential.
Are all Simulators and Launch Monitors basically the same?
Absolutely not-especially for indoor golf. Many systems only track the club and don’t accurately measure the golf ball at all. Some don’t require a ball, and without a marked ball, true ball data, especially spin, simply can’t be captured, especially inside. That means incomplete or misleading feedback.
Big Sticks Indoor Golf uses the most accurate launch monitor technology available on the market today. When you practice, accuracy matters. Every swing should give you real, reliable data you can trust to make meaningful improvements. What works great outside might not be accurate inside.
With so many simulators and swing technologies popping up, it’s easy to be impressed by flashy screens and numbers. But if the data isn’t precise, your practice is wasted. Our technology is PGA Tour–endorsed, which means it meets the highest standards of accuracy in the game. If you’re serious about improving, Big Sticks delivers feedback you can rely on — because better data leads to better golf.
How do I know the equipment at Big Sticks is accurate?
Accuracy is non-negotiable at Big Sticks Golf. Our technology is constantly updated, calibrated, and refined to ensure every swing delivers reliable, tour-level data. We are built around golf improvement, not entertainment or not food/beverage. Whether you’re taking lessons or practicing on your own, everything we offer is designed to make you better.
As a PGA professional and the owner, I personally stand behind the equipment we use. If it doesn’t provide accurate, actionable feedback, it doesn’t belong in our facility. Period.
Big Sticks features one of the only PGA-backed and endorsed simulators in the area. If it’s trusted by the PGA, it’s trusted by us. When you train at Big Sticks, you can be confident you’re practicing with technology that meets the highest standards in the game.
Do you have a driving range?
Yes and No — just a better one. Instead of a traditional outdoor range, Big Sticks offers high-performance hitting bays built for serious improvement. Each swing delivers instant feedback, including true ball flight, detailed shot data, and slow-motion swing replay.
Our aboutGolf simulators trusted by the PGA for their accuracy. No guessing. No wasted swings. Just real data that helps you hit it better, faster.
Do you provide PGA golf lessons?
Absolutely! All lessons at Big Sticks are taught by experienced PGA Professional instructors who are passionate about helping golfers of all levels improve. We teach most days of the week and, when weather allows, we also offer outdoor instruction.
Whether you’re new to the game or looking to fine-tune your swing, we’d love to help. Just give us a call to schedule your lesson.
How many lessons will I need?
That depends on your experience level, your goals, and how much time you’re able to practice. Golf is a lot like learning piano — progress comes faster with consistent instruction and practice. The difference is that in golf, a big part of the game happens behind your head, so understanding what to feel and why matters just as much as mechanics.
We work with beginners on a more regular, often weekly basis to build strong fundamentals, while more experienced players may check in periodically for tune-ups and focused practice. No matter where you’re starting, we’ll help create a lesson plan that fits your goals and your schedule.
Why do some people seem to get worse right after a lesson?
Even pros like Tiger Woods go through it. Changing your swing means moving away from old habits, and the transition can feel awkward at first. Practice without guidance can even reinforce old mistakes. At Big Sticks Golf, we help you bridge that gap, making your “new swing” stick faster so every lesson translates to real improvement.
Can I practice on my own? Do I have to take a lesson?
Absolutely! All of our bays are easy to use, so you can practice on your own whenever you like. No lesson required — many of our golfers just come in to hit balls, track their stats, and improve at their own pace. Lessons are always an option, but practicing solo is more than welcome.
I was able to walk in during the summer and get a bay but couldn’t lately?
During the summer months, business is slower and walk-ins are often available. From December through April, we are much busier and bays fill quickly. Walk-ins are still welcome, but we strongly recommend booking a tee time during peak season to ensure access to your preferred bay.
Why can’t I book a simulator or lesson online for today?
Online booking is not available for same-day reservations. Bays and instructors can become unavailable quickly due to walk-ins, extended sessions, or schedule changes. To avoid double bookings, please call us directly for same-day availability.
Why are no times showing available for next weekend?
If no times appear, the schedule is likely already full. Please call us—we may be able to offer alternative times or options.
Why was a deposit required for my booking this time but not last time?
We require deposits for bookings of 1 hour or more. This policy helps reduce no-shows and ensures availability for all customers.
Can I have a group function?
Yes, our facility is available for small corporate or private functions, please call to discuss what type of event you want.
Do you serve food or drinks?
No. When we opened over 20 years ago, our goal was to focus entirely on golf practice, training, and instruction—not food service.
This allows us to put all our energy into providing the best golf experience possible.
The good news? There are many great nearby restaurants offering takeout and delivery—better than anything we could provide in-house!
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, in any amount- good for all our services.
Do you ever offer discounts through online group deals?
We’ve done it in the past, and we never say never — but here’s the thing: Big Sticks Golf is all about quality over quantity. Our focus is on building real relationships with our golfers and delivering lessons that are personalized, not “mass-produced.”
Sometimes these deals are so heavily discounted that people don’t even follow through, and the lessons lose their impact. We’d rather golfers come in, experience our facility, see real results, and spread the word. Even a single lesson is fully customized to your game — we teach to improve you, not to fill slots. At BSG, it’s always about quality, not numbers.
Can my child come in and practice on the simulators?
Yes, but adult supervision may be required depending on the age and skill level of the child.
Do you provide private lessons for juniors?
Absolutely! Kids ages 7 and up can take lessons- a great way to swing, play, and fall in love with golf!
Do you offer clubs to use?
Yes, we have clubs to use for men, women, juniors and lefties, and no rental fees!
Do you offer golf instruction for adult beginners?
Absolutely! Beginners make up a big part of our student base. We offer both private and semi-private lessons, so you can learn at your own pace and get comfortable on the course.
